Vietnam, skyblu - Rubin maritime design bureau has confirmed US$ 2 billion for about 12 kilo 636 class submarine. The order is about to complete in six years ahead. The reason for Vietnam to owned the vessel is Chinese naval forces power detterance in next few decade. Vietnam see it as threat. Several Russia defence firms received various orders from Vietnam armed forces which not just submarine but also Su-30 fighter jet, missiles and surface ships.
The reason remain on these military sell are territorial spat between China and Vietnam in claiming over Sparatly and Paracel archipelagos. Not yet in counting for Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan which also claiming for the archipelagos which made the entire South China Sea hot cakes.
Vietnam blamed China in the last May for accidentally cut down the oil survey exploration cables ship inside Vietnam ZEE(Zone Economic Exclusive). Not yet to confirm the types, Vietnam said they had bought 2 submarines few years ago from North Korea. How Vietnam will pay for the purchase contract remain silent. However the country itself is facing the tremendous economic trouble.
Airbus Military was also sell three brand new coastal patrol planes, C212-400 Aviocar for the Vietnamese marine police. The purchase contract granted by the Vietnam government to Spain Airbus facility. Sukhoi design Bureau sold a squadron(comprises of 12) Su-30 MK2 to Vietnam Air Force. The deal itself worth US$ 1 Billion.
